Sharing Good Practice – Safeguarding Standards Compliance Checklist

As part of our commitment to supporting excellence in education and promoting collaboration across the independent school sector, we are pleased to make our Ofsted Compliance Checklist and Safeguarding Standards Evidence Collation Table freely available for other schools to use.

This resource has been developed to support schools in reviewing compliance with statutory requirements, organising evidence efficiently, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement throughout the academic year. It is intended as a practical working document that can be adapted to reflect the individual context and needs of each school.

At Hamd House, we believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility and that every child deserves to learn in a safe, supportive and well-governed environment. By sharing this resource, our aim is not only to support our own school, but to contribute to strengthening safeguarding practice across the wider education community. If these materials help even one school to enhance its safeguarding arrangements, they have served a valuable purpose. We want to play our part in helping to keep all children safe, wherever they are educated.

We believe that sharing effective practice strengthens the wider education community and helps schools learn from one another.
